Terms of Service
Effective date: July 9, 2026
1. The service
Octupost ("Octupost", "we", "us") is a social media scheduling and multi-sharing service that lets you connect your social media accounts and compose, schedule and publish content to them. By creating an account or using Octupost you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country) and old enough to hold accounts on the platforms you connect. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Connect only social media accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you create and publish through Octupost. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the service: storing your content and transmitting it to the platforms you select, at the time you select. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and must have all necessary rights to it, including to any music, footage or images it contains.
4. Platform terms
Publishing through Octupost is subject to the rules of each connected platform, and you agree to comply with them, including the YouTube Terms of Service (by using Octupost with YouTube you agree to be bound by them), Meta's Terms of Service and Community Standards for Facebook and Instagram, TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and the X Terms of Service. Platforms may reject, remove, restrict or label content according to their own policies; Octupost has no control over and no responsibility for such decisions.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Octupost to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive or spam; to violate any platform's terms, automation rules or rate limits; to harass or harm others; or to attempt to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Availability
We work to keep Octupost reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Scheduled posts depend on third-party platform APIs that can change, fail or rate-limit at any time, so we cannot guarantee that every post will be published at the exact requested time or at all. The app shows you the status of every post so you can react if something fails.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Octupost is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or platform-side actions (such as content removal or account suspension) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or 50 EUR if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Termination
You can stop using Octupost and request deletion of your account and data at any time (see Data Deletion Instructions). We may suspend or terminate the service or your account for violation of these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content responsibility and liability limits) survive.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continuing to use Octupost after changes take effect means you accept them.
